The program is designed to address labour market shortages in the Atlantic region and help employers hire qualified candidates who are not available locally.<\/p><p>The AIP allows designated employers in the Atlantic provinces to hire qualified candidates from outside Canada or those already in Canada on a temporary basis. The designation process ensures that the employer is committed to supporting the candidate\u2019s settlement and long-term success in the community.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-2372\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2372\" least 30 hours per week).<\/li><li>The job offer must be\u00a0<strong>non-seasonal<\/strong>.<\/li><li>The job offer must be for at least\u00a0<strong>one year<\/strong>\u00a0(for TEER 0, 1, 2, and 3 positions).<\/li><li>For TEER 4 positions, the job offer must be\u00a0<strong>permanent<\/strong>\u00a0(no end date).<\/li><li>The wage offered must meet the prevailing wage rates for the occupation or 4<\/strong> jobs under the <strong>National Occupational Classification (NOC)<\/strong> system.<\/li><li>The work experience can be accumulated through full-time or part-time work, but it must study.<\/li><li>The study program was completed within the last <strong>24 months<\/strong> before applying.<\/li><li>The graduate had legal status in Canada during the period of study.<\/li><li>Lived
